Women Tanning which is associated with that of skin cancer might have an advantage after all for the case of lovemaking in couples.
At the Emory University, it is found that the photographs of women to make them appear tanner increased how attractive they were rated on a popular attractiveness-rating site HotorNot.com.
In the research, it was resulted on the website to see if the hotness scores would reflect with the same woman which was shown with her natural complexion and then with a tan.
In this research to find out women tanning for lovemaking, the age 21 to 35 years were used and in no time on the site HotorNot.com, the darker version of the woman seemed to be more attractive to the men.
Meanwhile, the American Academy of Dermatology has warned the public about skin cancer risks of women tanning with have had limited success. Dr Audrey Kunin, from the American Academy of Dermatology stated," People think that tanned individuals are more attractive, healthier looking, and it's incredibly difficult to get someone not to do something that perceive as providing them with a positive perception. It was the same thing with smoking. Especially younger people have a hard time seeing themselves as getting older and having to deal with these risks."
